Aim: The aim of this essay is to study the external communication of Science Park Jönköping, how they want students in Jönköping to perceive them. Abstract Ideon Science Park was built on the edge of Lund city in mid-80ies. The Science Park was surrounded by open farm land and Lunds Faculty of engineering(LTH). The architecture, the facades of the buildings, were placed to face the faculty. The Science Park has since then grown, and the actual front of the building is no longer faced towards LTH. The people working at Ideon are met by the backside, the meeting with Ideon is primarerly a meeting with fields of parkinglots. The initiative to this thesis was taken by Ikano Fastigheter AB, one of two real estate owners of Ideon Science Park. Their aim is to make the area easier to orientate, they want it to be more internally connected and with a stronger identity. The thesis is mainly dealing with two questions conserning Ideon Science center.

During the late 19: th century the park Tivoli in Halmstad, today called Norre Katts park, was known as one of the most beautiful amusementparks of southern Sweden. This is a description that hardly anyone would use to portray the park today. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate what the park once looked like and how it has changed until today?s neglected state. The history of the place and by who and for whom the park with; 4 ½ acers with meandering paths, caves, an avenue, leaf halls and bowers, was created. Who designed the park in the year of 1843 is an unrequited question.

This master thesis has been written in collaboration with Science Park Jönköping and is based on a problem related to corporate innovation. Science Park Jönköping believes that there is an untapped potential in existing industry in the form of ideas that are never commercialized. These theories are also supported in the research in which other authors have perceived that the ideas and inventions which do not belong to the core business risk ending up in drawers. If more of these ideas could be spin-offs or other forms of enterprise instead of staying in the drawers it would lead to growth, both for companies and for the society in large.The purpose of the thesis work is to, based on the case Science Park Jönköping, analyze how Science Parks and incubators can support the commercialization of ideas that derive from industry, who otherwise had been left lying. The work began with a mapping of the Science Park Jönköping operations and the skills they possess, and then other initiatives that aim to commercialize more ideas from companies were examined.

This thesis is a study over changes and similarities of people's activities in Berzelii park, with focus on the second half of the 19th century and present time. As one of the oldest public parks in Stockholm, Berzelii park has been a place for outdoor activity for more than a hundred years. During that time both the park and the society have undergone changes, but people are still using this green area in the city centre in a similar way as generations before have done. It is still a place for social gathering and during the summer month the park invite for optional and social activities such as a pause in the sun and pic-nic with friends. Some customs has disappeared like the 19th century social stroll, but through small changes in rules or design others have become given, like using the lawns as seating..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att ta fram en modell för att attrahera innovationsmöjligheter till Munktell Science Park i Eskilstuna. Detta gjorde författarna genom att från befintliga teorier deducera fram en hypotetisk modell. Modellen används inte för att skapa innovationer utan för att hitta komplexa problem. Det är lösningarna på de komplexa problemen som i sin tur kan vara innovationerna. Därför har vi kallat de komplexa problemen för innovationsmöjligheter. .

Bakgrund: Klusterbegreppet introducerades under 1900-talet, men fenomenet erkändes redan under tidigt 1900-tal. Trots att marknaderna idag blir mer globaliserade, är klusterbegreppet fortfarande aktuellt. Som exempel på områden som kännetecknas av starka länkar mellan företagen kan Silicon Valley och Sophia-Antipolis nämnas, även kända som ?Industriella Hollywoods?.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera interaktioner mellan aktörer inom ett lokalt ?Industriellt Hollywood? ? Mjärdevi Science Park. Hur förhåller sig aktörerna till fördelar med att befinna sig inom ett närområde, i hur stor utsträckning utnyttjas dessa agglomerationsmöjligheter och varför?Metod: Denna studie är baserad på djupintervjuer med sexton företagsrepresentanter från Mjärdevi Science Park och en professor från Linköpings Universitet.Resultat: Aktörerna verkar vara medvetna om vilka agglomerationsfördelar som föreligger, dock utnyttjas dessa inte i någon större utsträckning.

Eslöv received its city privileges in the year 1911 and to celebrate the city?s 100th jubilee it has been decided, among many other things, to reinvigorate the City park. This master thesis presents a new proposal for the design of the City park. As a basis for the new proposal a study of the public park is made in a social and structural context as well as a study of the history of the Eslöv City park. The history of the Eslöv City park is somewhat unclear, especially if there has ever been a one design for the whole park? To create a picture of the public park in general, a study of literature has been made and to describe the history of the City park I Have researched the city archive in Eslöv.

Examensarbetet besvarar hur en Science Park-nod bör göra sig synlig på glesbygden. Arbetet har uträttats för Näringlivsbolaget i Eksjö kommun under perioden mars 2009- september 2009. Det har besvarat frågor rörande marknadsföring av Science Park-noder med ett konkret exempel i samhället Mariannelund. Noden i Mariannelund har funnits sedan hösten 2008, men har ännu inte marknadsförts någonting. Rapporten påvisar hur marknadsföringen kan göras för att tjänsten ska efterfrågas av fler kunder.

Examensarbetet utvecklar en miljö för barn och ungdomar i olika åldersgrupper, där både inne- och uterum är av lika stor vikt. Vidare utvecklar projektet gestaltningen och användningen av en befintlig park i Stockholm..

Arbetsmarknaden i Silicon Valley karakteriseras av faktorer som hög personalomsättning, nätverkande och risktagande. Denna arbetsmarknad har vuxit fram på en begränsad geografisk yta och består idag ca 7 500 företag. Mjärdevi Science Park är en av de snabbast växande teknikparkerna i världen, varför vi anser att en jämförelse av de båda arbetsmarknaderna är intressant. Syftet är att med utgångspunkt från de faktorer som karakteriserar arbetsmarknaden i Silicon Valley, genomföra en jämförelse med arbetsmarknaden i Mjärdevi Science Park. Denna uppsats kommer inte att behandla vad det är som gör en teknikpark ekonomiskt framgångsrik.

In 2007 the project with the renewal of the Vasa Park in Stockholm won the Siena Prize. The architects responsible for the project described how they aimed for upgrading the park within its historical framework. Since the project was a renewal and not a restoration of the park, I thought it would be interesting to study how the architects proceeded with this work. The aim of this essay has therefore been to examine how the last renewal of the Vasa Park has chosen to approach the history of the place. To understand the historical development of the park and how the renewal project was carried out, I started with a literature survey consisting of books, the program of the renewal and articles about the project.
